TheArt2Give is an initiative of a number of people who are committed to help those in need and have chosen the world of Art as their vehicle.

For many artists finding a good exhibition space is difficult. However, there are plenty of places where owners are keen to offer their space for exhibitions, where Art is more than welcome. For artists, TheArt2Give offers a great opportunity to share their work with a wider public, while at the same time generating funds for those in need (at least 30% of all sales is destined to support different registered charities).

TheArt2Give is a non profit organisation, founded in December 2009 that aims to bring together, Artists, Spaces and Charities to mutually support each other, promoting not only Art, but also the Art of Giving.

TheArt2Give is open to all Artists, Spaces and Charities that support the objectives of the foundation.

HOW DOES THEART2GIVE WORK?

The idea is that we look for spaces willing to hold exhibitions at no cost
for the artist, or TheArt2Give, simply in exchange for the possibility of choosing the supported Charity.

At the same time, we look for artists that would like to exhibit at these spaces, and on their terms, free of charge, but willing to donate a percentage of all sales to charities and non-profit organisations.

The artists set the price of the work, and while in some cases the space owner makes the artists selection, in certain spaces we are allowed to operate an open selection. In our attempt to make ART accessible to a wider public, we are currently limiting the sale price of any work at a maximum of 3000 euros per piece.

We aim to collaborate with permanent and temporary spaces (such as hotels, lounges, restaurants or empty commercial spaces that are currently For Rent, Sale, etc.).
